Community Guidelines

MovingSpot is about discovering what is happening around you, sharing the vibe and connecting around places and events.

Everyone helps keep that experience useful, welcoming and safe.

Be respectful

Treat other users with respect.

Do not harass, threaten, intimidate or deliberately target others.

Hate speech, discrimination and abusive behaviour are not welcome on MovingSpot.

Keep it real

Share genuine information about places, events and the current vibe.

Do not:

• deliberately create fake events;
• knowingly provide false place information;
• manipulate presence or vibe information;
• impersonate another person;
• spam chats;
• use MovingSpot for scams or deceptive behaviour.

Mistakes happen. Deliberately misleading others is different.

Respect privacy

Do not share another person's private or sensitive information without permission.

Do not use MovingSpot to stalk, expose or endanger someone.

Someone being present at a place does not give others permission to share additional private information about them.

Respect intellectual property

Share only content that you created yourself or are authorised to use.

Do not copy descriptions, photographs, artwork, flyers, logos or other protected content from another website, platform or service unless you have permission to use it.

Keep chat safe

Do not use chat for:

• harassment or threats;
• hate speech;
• unwanted sexual content;
• scams or spam;
• illegal activity;
• content intended to harm or intimidate others.

Report

If a chat message violates these Guidelines:

Press and hold the message → Report

Explain why you are reporting it and submit the report.

For an event or other content, use Feedback in MovingSpot or email [email protected].

Reports may be reviewed by an authorised moderator.

Reported content may be removed when it violates these Guidelines.

Block users

You can block another user if you no longer want direct interaction with them.

You can block a user from the Network user list by pressing and holding their profile, or from a venue-chat message by pressing and holding the message and choosing Block. Confirm as appropriate.

While either person blocks the other, each person cannot see the other's venue-chat messages (including chat media), reactions, active presence or user-created events. User-originated chat or message, presence or check-in, and event-created notifications are suppressed in both directions.

Blocking does not make either person completely invisible throughout MovingSpot. The other person's pseudonym and avatar remain visible in the Network member directory, but without active presence. Other users can still see their user-created events. Events not created by that user, Places, and protected aggregate or historical statistics remain visible or unchanged.

The blocked user is not directly notified. Each person controls only their own block. A block is removed when its owner unblocks or when either associated account is permanently deleted. Direct content becomes visible again only after neither person blocks the other.

Protect children

Any sexual exploitation or abuse of children is strictly prohibited.

This includes child sexual abuse material, grooming, sextortion and attempts to sexually exploit a minor.

Enforcement

Content that violates these Guidelines may be removed.

Serious violations may result in further action against the responsible account.
